Citron Bromeliad (Canistropsis bilbergioides)
Endemic to the deep, shaded understories of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. A central rosette that erupts into a luminous, neon-yellow crown.
Intense, glowing yellow bracts that hold their brilliant colour for an astonishing 3 to 4 months. Compact, elegant rosettes of glossy, soft-green foliage that perfectly contrast the central splash of neon.
Reaches a highly manageable 25 cm to 40 cm at maturity, making it ideal for indoor spaces, terrariums, gardens or shaded patios.
Thrives in low-light environments and deep shade. Keep out of harsh afternoon sun to protect the vivid coloration.
Requires a coarse, airy, ultra-well-draining organic mix (such as orchid bark and perlite).
Fill the central cup with clean rainwater and keep the soil lightly moist. Low maintenance, high reward.
