Even at this juvenile stage, they are already boasting their signature swollen base (caudex) and a playful tuft of cascading, ribbon-like leaves.Because of their miniature size, these starters offer a lot of creative freedom! Leave them in a small decorative planter as a highly forgiving, low-maintenance desktop companion, or use them as fantastic pre-bonsai material. These plants are the ultimate survivors. That bulbous trunk acts as a massive water reservoir, meaning they practically thrive on neglect!

• Growth style/Plant Type: Slow-growing, evergreen perennial succulent tree.
• Light: Bright indirect light to full sun; tolerates some low light.
• Water: Low; allow soil to dry out completely before watering.
• Soil: Fast-draining; ideal mix is succulent or cactus potting soil.
• Humidity/Temperature: Low humidity; prefers warm temperatures (15°C–29°C).
