This remarkable beauty has stunning silvery-gray rosettes which make for an exquisite, low-maintenance and beginner friendly air plant. It lacks soil roots and uses anchor roots strictly to attach itself to surfaces like wood, trees, or stone.
Cultivation & Care
- Family: Bromeliacea.
- Growth style/Plant Type: Herbaceous epiphytic perennial (Air plant).
- Light: Bright, filtered light.
- Water: Thoroughly mist the foliage 2 to 3 times a week, increasing frequency during dry, hot weather. Alternatively, submerge or dunk the whole plant in water once a week, making sure to shake off all excess moisture upside down to prevent center rot.
- Soil: Strictly no soil required.
- Humidity/Temperature: Thrives beautifully in temperatures ranging between 10°C and 32°C. Does not require overly humid conditions.
