• Growth style/Plant Type: Clumping, evergreen perennial with an upright growth habit, featuring lance-shaped leaves with wavy edges and a velvety, furry texture underneath.
• Light: Bright, indirect, or filtered light; position the plant roughly 1.5 metres away from harsh windows to avoid scorching the foliage.
• Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy; water thoroughly once the top 2 cm to 3 cm of soil dries out, and ensure excess water drains completely.
• Soil: Well-draining, moisture-retentive mix; a combination of 50% potting soil, 20% orchid bark, 20% charcoal, and 10% perlite works best.
• Humidity/Temperature: Requires high relative humidity of 60% or higher; thrives in temperatures between 18°C and 24°C, and should never drop below 15°C.
